How can I set up an account?

What are the new features for Release 2.0?

You can now track your coil shipping and receiving information; track open orders, packing list and Bill of Lading as well as get information on individual coil specifications.

How do I print my reports?

In your Summary or Detail report:

  • Click Hide Search Criteria.
  • In your browser menu, choose File and select Print
  • Click the Layout tab in the Print Dialog Box and select Landscape.
  • In the General tab, click "Print".

What should I do if I forget my password?

From the LOGIN PAGE, click forgotten your password; After you submit your User ID or Your Email Address. We will email you your password. If you still have problems accessing your reports, please contact us. BACK TO TOP

How can I change my password?

If you are logged on, you can click "Change Password" from the Menu on the Inquiry page. You will need your old password and the one you wish to begin using.

How do I get a packing list?

There are two ways you can access the packing lists of the shipped coils:

  1. From the Coil Shipping Summary Report, click on the BOL number link to get the packing list associated with it.To view a different packing list:
    • click on SUMMARY REPORT on the main menu at the top of the current packing list page
    • then click on a different BOL number.
  2. From main Inquiry page:
    • click on Coil Inquiry.
    • Enter the base coil number or mill coil number as the search criteria;
    • click the SEARCH button to get the CURRENT COIL INQUIRY REPORT displayed at the lower part of the page.
    • Click the coil number that has been shipped, and then click the BOL number in the subsequent page.
    To view a different packing list from the current packing list page:
    • click on the arrow at the lower right;
    • click on the same arrow on the CURRENT COIL INQUIRY REPORT page
    • click on the link of a different coil number if you have multiple coils.

Why do I only see certain days of data?

That is the limit of the data available to our system. Currently, Coil Receiving Report is limited to the receipts within last 4 weeks and Coil Shipment Report is limited to the shipments within last 2 weeks. Coil Inquiry program provides the information on coils of finished and non-finished goods inventory, of the shipments within last 2 weeks, of the receipts within last 4 weeks, and of all the open orders. If you need to see more data than is available in our current system, please contact your sales representative. As we continue to streamline our data retrival, you will be able to retrieve more data in a single query.

How can I get individual coil information from my inventory reports?

Click on your coil number in the Detail report.

How can I return to the Inquiry page to run a different kind of report?

Click on "New Inquiry" in the header menu to return to the Inquiry Page.

How fresh is the data that I get in a report?

Data is refereshed each evening. As we continue to improve CoilTracker and add new features, data will be refreshed more often. You can find the last refresh date in the "Time-Stamp" at the top of each Summary or Detail report. BACK TO TOP
